Classroom Expectations

Below, you’ll find my classroom expectations, procedures, and the HMS Discipline  Plan

Classroom Expectations:

1. Enter classroom quietly

2. Only leave classroom with permission/pass from teacher

3. Have all materials ready for class

4. Listen to and follow directions

5. Keep hands and feet to yourself

6. Wait to be dismissed

Procedures: 

a. Put bookbags down against the wall and have I-Pad and folder out, sign up for restroom, and begin Progress Learning Assignment for Bell Ringer. 

b. After the first ten minutes, students will begin going to the restroom in the order their name was placed on the board when they signed in. They must complete the Restroom Google Form in their "Lunch Course" in Schoology and have a Restroom Ticket to use the restroom (school policy), or a deduction of 75 PBIS Points will occur. Students with doctor's notes on files with the nurses office will still have to complete the Google Form and sign up on the board. c. Students will raise hands to speak, and follow all Classrrom Expectations. 

d. Free time is the last five minutes of class, if all assignments have been turned in. Students may work on assignments, read quietly, or play an educational game. If they would like to eat a snack they brought with them, they are allowed to do so at this time. Students are not allowed to get up and walk around, yell across the classroom, or listen to any music without headphones during class time.
