ArtSummer is a three-week course designed to provide recognition, encouragement, and enrichment for young, talented student artists. This intensive and individualized course of study in the arts will allow the young artist to improve skills, learn new techniques, develop new ideas and prepare for an arts related vocation or avocation. Students will also be exposed to and participate in activities in multiple arts disciplines. Apply below!

Virtual Art Gallery Walk

2021 Program Dates: June 21-July 8

Eligibility is based on the following:1. The student and his/her parents must be legal residents of Darlington County.2. The student must currently be in fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, or tenth grade at the time of application and must be enrolled in a Darlington County public school.3. The student must demonstrate talent, achievement, and/or potential in the arts. Although selection is not based on academic achievement, a transcript may be reviewed to establish the learning, commitment, and achievement patterns of the students applying.

Selection Process:

1. Submission of application.2. Transcript and a teacher recommendation from current arts teacher.3. Audition in selected arts area if needed.
