Brief Course Outline

                                      1st 9 weeks: Foundations of geography - Climates, landforms, vegetation

                                      2nd 9 weeks: Natural Resources - Energy 

                                      3rd 9 weeks: Population and Migration - Culture

                                      4th 9 weeks: Border disputes - governments - project

Course Requirements:

Students are encouraged to participate in class and complete daily tasks. Students are expected to makeup any missed task (Assessments, Quizzes, Mastery Checks) if absent. Remember to bring your iPads for Face-to-Face instruction.  

Per each quarter: (minimum)

 2 Assessments              = 35 % of grade

 2 Class Performance   = 40 % of grade

      3 Mastery Checks        = 25 % of grade

Homework assignments turned in late (except due to absences) will be deducted 20% from total grade.  Students are expected to make up missed homework.

A 100-90

B 89-80

C 79-70

D 69-60

F 59-Below

Absences

Students are responsible for all tasks missed due to absences.  Student(s) must follow daily lesson plans for the day(s) missed and use the daily check list within each lesson plan to know what is expected to be accomplished each day.
