Ms.Bosson: Idea Teacher

Hello and welcome to the Achievers' Program website for the 2021-2022 school year! Thank you for visiting. My name is Ms. Emily Bosson, and I have the great fortune of being the Idea Achievers' Program teacher during semester one. This is my fourth year in charge of the high school program, and I can say with great enthusiasm that all four years have been a delightful, engaging, and rewarding learning experience for me as a teacher.

I was asked to take on the Idea Achievers' Program four years ago due to my background in academic research and my love of student-driven instruction. Over the past four years, I have made some significant changes to the curriculum while still maintaining what makes it so special and successful: the independent project that students complete.

In yet another pandemic year, I find myself filled with gratitude to be with such talented, dedicated, and gifted students. It is a joy to be part of their creative processes, to take part in their triumphs and help them through their challenges, and to see all their hard work come together in May when they proudly present it to the Darien community during Achievers' Night.
