Higher Level Teaching qualification (HLTA)
GCSE Mathematics and English grade C or above
NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualifications or experience

Completed specialist training courses in any of the following: ASD and ADHD, Speech and language, and behaviour
Desirable
Training in low level counselling or emotional support
Herts Therapeutic Thinking training
Experience in running nurture groups
First aid training /training as appropriate

Strong communication skills, both written and oral

ICT skills as applicable to role
