NUTCRACKER INFO CENTER - Nutcracker Dress Rehearsal Info

Dress rehearsal is on Wednesday, November 13, 2024 and are MANDATORY for all dancers participating in Nutcracker. This rehearsal is very important and allows students to practice on stage and get familiar with the venue before performance day. COSTUMES WILL BE WORN at this rehearsal. A photographer will be taking pictures of our dancers in the lobby for those that want to purchase. Please come in your costume and bring ballet or pointe shoes. We will run through their dances on the stage.

*** Please come early so you can find the drop off area and be ready to drop off at the time listed below.

Drop Off & Parking

Parents will park and enter through the west entrance (maps below) and find the dancer drop off area. Our staff will check dancers in and stay with each class until it is their turn to go on stage. After dropping off your dancer, parents can go to the audience to watch rehearsal.

What to Bring

Wear COSTUMES and have dancer already wearing the correct dance shoes when you drop them off.
No additional items are needed
Beg./Int./Adv. Pointe will need both costumes and ballet and pointe shoes. Dancers will change in dressing rooms between dances.

Pick Up

When dancers have finished rehearsing, they will be brought from the stage down to one of the front rows of the audience. Parents will pick up dancers here.

These classes will rehearse with their class 1st & STAY backstage with our staff until we rehearse Finale (at approx. 4:40). After Finale we will release dancers and you are free to leave.

Bon Bons - Show A - Thurs. 4:30 Combo 5-6

These classes will rehearse with their class 1st & STAY backstage with our staff until we rehearse Finale (at approx. 4:40). After Finale we will release dancers and you are free to leave.

Party - Show B - Sat. 11:45 and Wed. 5:45 Combo 5-6
Bon Bons - Show B - Mon. 4:30 Combo 5-6
Presents - Show B - Sat. 10:45 Combo 4-5

These classes will rehearse with their class 1st & STAY backstage with our staff until we rehearse Finale (at approx. 5:35). After Finale we will release dancers and you are free to leave.

Note: Pointe and Ballet 8/9 will rehearse Finale 1st & STAY backstage until they rehearse their dance.

These classes will rehearse with their class 1st & STAY backstage with our staff until we rehearse Finale (at approx. 6:40). After Finale we will release dancers and you are free to leave.

These classes will rehearse Finale 1st altogether. Then, we will rehearse each dance individually. After each class finishes we will release dancers and you are free to leave.
