Kristen Hatcher-Fontaine

My name is Kristen Hatcher-Fontaine and I'm one of the AT Chicks! Everyone calls me Ms. Kristen, I am one of the districts AAC Specialists and AT Specialists. This is my 7th year in this role and it is the best job! I get to work with so many awesome teachers and students! I LOVE Technology and all the things it can help us do.

Before I became a Specialist I was a Special Education Teacher with the Danbury Public Schools for the last 23 years. I have held various positions within the Special Education Department. I have taught in Virginia and in other districts in Connecticut before I taught in Danbury.

I graduated from Lesley College ( University) in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I have also graduated from Western Connecticut State University in Danbury ,Connecticut. I currently hold a certificate in Educational Technology from Augustana University in South Dakota.

Currently I am a full time AAC and AT Specialist and my office is located at Hayestown Ave. School.
