Mrs. Jennifer Goodwin

My name is Jennifer Goodwin and I'm one of the AT Chicks! Everyone calls me Mrs. G or Ms. Jenn. I am one of the district's AAC and AT Specialists. This is my fourth year in this role and I love my job, both the AT and AAC sides.

I currently am located at Hayestown Ave. School. Before I became a Specialist I was an elementary resource teacher for ten years. I am a proud product of the Danbury Public School system. My Bachelor degree is from Western Ct State University in Communication Disorders with a minor in Sign Language. I graduated from Southern CT State University with a Master's in Assistive Technology. In between I attended California State Los Angeles for speech pathology, and Mount San Antonio college for American Sign Language interpreting.

In addition to being an AT/AAC Specialist for my district, I also provide intensive reading supports using a method based on Orton Gillingham.
