The Damien High School Music Program currently serves about 100 performers throughout its ensembles: marching band (Spartan Regiment), concert band, jazz band, beginning band, guitars, indoor winds, winter guard, and music ministry.
Our mission is to inspire performers to achieve excellence through music. We foster growth, confidence, and creativity by promoting dedication, discipline, and teamwork. Guided by our motto, "No Excuses, Just Results," we empower students to reach their fullest potential.
The Damien Spartan Regiment is a three-time California State Band Division Champion, back-to-back SCSBOA Division 1A Champion, and Bands of America Regional Class A Champion. Our concert and jazz ensembles consistently earn superior ratings at SCSBOA festivals. The indoor winds is a two-time WGASC WSA Champion and WGI World Championships silver medalist. Our indoor percussion is a two-time WGASC champion, and our winter guard is a WGASC champion, continuing Damien’s tradition of excellence across all performance ensembles.
Most recently, in 2025, Damien was nationally recognized with the Support Music Merit Award from The NAMM Foundation — a distinction that celebrates our unwavering support and commitment to music education.
