About
The Damien High School Music Program currently serves about 100 performers throughout its ensembles: marching band (Spartan Regiment), concert band, jazz band, guitar ensemble, indoor percussion, winter guard, and music ministry.
Our mission is to empower performers through music, discipline, and teamwork. With a focus on artistic expression and personal growth, we instill pride, dedication, and responsibility. Through practice and performances, we pursue musical excellence and nurture students' development, equipping them with the skills, confidence, and creativity to make meaningful contributions to their communities and beyond.
The Damien Spartan regiment is a back-to-back California State Band Division 2A Champion, the 2023 Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association Division 1A Champion, and a 2023 Bands of America Regional Class A Champion. Our concert band and jazz band have consistently received superior ratings at SCSBOA festivals and our winter guard and indoor percussion have been consistently WGASC finalists.
