FP students are at home engaged in asynchronous and synchronous learning. Students will have both off- and on-screen learning activities designed to engage learners in experiences that connect to the current curriculum.

Effective comprehensive E-learning requires careful planning and consideration around how the teachers facilitate instructional delivery. Blending asynchronous and synchronous learning experiences provides opportunities to build community and learn collaboratively, while also providing autonomy for learners to engage in content, read, investigate and demonstrate learning at their own pace. Research supports that a balanced approach to synchronous and asynchronous instructional design is necessary to help ensure reasonable screen time (should the learning be online), to encourage learner independence, and to allow for maximum flexibility for educators, families, and students.
