The purpose of this section is to outline what a typical E-learning day “looks like” for students. Just as in face-to-face instruction, scholars will attend each of their classes and meet with their teacher. Teachers will plan lessons that will require students to engage, discuss, and complete assignments. Students will be expected to complete assignments and assessments and teachers will provide feedback to support their learning.
Teachers will greet students in the morning. They will explain the day's schedule and expectations. In addition to the daily expectations, teachers will check attendance and uniforms.

After regular classes have finished for the day, there is a TLC class for everyone.
The goal of the TLC class is to support students in need during distance learning.
All students must attend this class. Like checking in during the morning meeting, all students will check out at the end of the day.
The most basic of support for e-learning is attendance and success with the technology and materials needed to connect to e-learning on a daily basis.
After being sure that the students are attending and connecting effectively, we look to support students' academic, social, and emotional needs. An example of this could be when a student does not understand fully what his or her assignment is for a class. Or perhaps a during class, a student had a problem where another student wrote something unkind in the class zoom chat. This issue should be discussed, and in TLC class, a teacher will support a student with this problem.
For whom: all students, but especially students in need of support.
By whom: specialist teachers, e.g. music, art, ELL, ed. tech., etc.
