York County in the Civil War

York County paid the price for freedom in the Civil War, Revolutionary War, and in every major war in American History. Our soldiers can be found on the front lines of many pivotal moments not only American History but World History. This site has been assembled by students in the Local History class at Dallastown Area High School. Our purpose is to exhibit the places and conflicts where our soldiers have fought and the assaults they were involved in. Bigger than this, though, we want to gain an appreciation for the rich history of our home. Thank you for visiting our page!
