WHAT IF MY STUDENT IS POSITIVE FOR COVID-19?
Return to school/ work when fever-free for 24 hours, without taking fever-reducing medication AND with improved symptoms.
For any absence greater than three days, a provider note will be needed for extended absence (if no proof of positive test-students only). Student absence will be coded as an ‘Absence Excused’ for reported COVID cases that do not include a positive test result or provider letter.
We will accept a picture of a positive COVID test. This will permit an absence of up to five days of absence. This code will expire upon the conclusion of the 2023-2024 school year.
Parents/Guardians should log in to the Skyward Family Access Center to enter their child’s absence(s).
