Caitlin graduated cum laude from Baylor University's Honors College in 2013. After working at a magazine for a few years, she transitioned to teaching. For the past five years, she has taught subjects ranging from Technical Writing to AP English Language Arts and Composition. She is currently earning her master’s degree from Southern Methodist University's Graduate of Liberal Studies program with an emphasis on English and Creative Writing.

Cory graduated summa cum laude from Jarvis Christian College in 2012 and obtained his masters of science in 2018 from UT Tyler Health Science Center in Biotechnology. After years of conducting and publishing research, Cory decided to come back to education. For the past eight years, he has taught many scientific subjects ranging from Biology, Chemistry, Forensics, Scientific Research & Design, college-level Anatomy & Physiology, and much more. He always looks forward to students achieving the very best they can in the sciences.

Rick spent nearly 20 years as a software engineer and business leader at Microsoft. He held several positions including a software engineer and Group Program Manager on the C/C++ compiler, Development Manager for Microsoft's internal tools group, and Director of Business Development for the .NET product line. Rick was driving force behind the Visual Studio Team System group and as it's General Manager, grew the team from 1 to over 500 employees. Rick still sits on the Board of Directors of several companies and provides business and leadership consulting. He teaches advanced AP Comp Sci A, IB Comp Sci HL, Mobile Application Development, and Game Design & Development courses.

Mr. Lopez is a graduate from the University of North Texas. This is his 8th year of teaching and 4th year as a part of the Woodrow IB team. In addition to his contributions to the IB department, Mr. Lopez is the AP music theory teacher, Director of Choirs, and Music Director for Woodrow’s annual musical stage production.

Ms. O’Connell graduated with a degree in Geology from the University of Kansas. After working in the energy sector for a few years, she got a Master’s of Arts in Teaching from the University of Texas at Dallas. She has been at Woodrow for 10 years and has taught a variety of sciences over the years. She currently teaches IB Environmental Systems and Society.
