(Male and Female), Physical Fitness, Rifle Marksmanship Team and Orienteering.

The teams are open to all enrolled cadets with the caveat that they must agree to wear the Army Cadet Service Uniform, be able to compete at District and Regional Level Competitions all year round.

Orienteering is a fun outdoor activity designed to promote fitness and enjoy the outdoors. Students can participate individually or in teams. You get a map, compass and points to look for around the course. We are fortunate to have the North Texas Orienteering Association sponsor local events to benefits the JROTC students.
Archery Team
Archery Team
The 12th Battalion has the Honor in becoming the 1st and only program to have an Archery Team in the entire DISD. We are a part of NASP (National Archery for School Program). We are currently in the building process and have competed in one regional and two virtual events. Archery teaches students teamwork, focus and develops a sense of belonging. Students use the Genesis Compound Bow. Our Archery range is configure to shoot arrows from 10 - 15 meters.
