Symmetrical Insects

Materials: Paper, Pencil or Crayons

Activity:

1. Symmetry is when an object looks the same on its left and right side. Today we will practice drawing symmetrical insects.

2. Look at the pictures below of symmetrical insects.

3. Choose an insect that you would like to draw.

4. Create a symmetrical drawing on an insect, remember to add details! (Where does your insect live, what could it like to eat?)
