Drawing a Portrait

Materials: Paper, Pencil, Colored Pencils, or Crayons

Activity:

1. A portrait is an artwork that shows the likeness of a person.

2.Look at the examples of portraits below. What can you tell about the people in these portraits? How are they feeling? What is their facial expression?

3. Watch the video 'Let's Draw a Portrait'. Practice with the video and then try drawing a portrait of yourself or someone you know.
