We strive to expose our students to enriching experiences that will expand knowledge, ignite curiosity, foster creativity, enhance social skills and nurture self-worth. We respect each child’s need to develop and grow in their own special and distinctive way, and encourage them to respect the freedoms and differences of those around them.

At Harold W. Lang Sr. Middle School, the focus of our Pioneer House System is to maintain a small community atmosphere within our large school population. These communities exist together to foster healthy relationships between scholars and all staff, while building a strong sense of care and belonging for EVERY Pioneer!

Student Advisory
Student Advisory at Harold W. Lang Sr. Middle School is a time for ongoing, rigorous training that molds every Pioneer into a productive, empowered legend! Student Advisory is a time that our scholars explicitly engage in lesson design around our values of all Pioneers being civic citizens, critical thinkers, socially competent, responsive workers and effective presenters.
