Assessments of Course Performance (ACPs) are a collaborative product of the Assessment Department and Teaching and Learning. ACPs are used each semester in grades 3 through 12 as part of the student summative evaluation. ACPs are created for courses in Mathematics, Reading/Language Arts, Spanish Reading/Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, English-as-a Second Language (ESL), World Languages, Visual & Performing Arts, Technology, Health, and Physical Education.

ACPs have a time limit of 120 minutes and will be administered online in the Dallas Assessment Navigator (DAN) platform. This school year, ACPs will include multiple choice, numeric response and Technology Enhanced Items (TE Items).
