Alexandra Clayton

Alexandra Clayton is the College Advisor serving Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and is also a proud graduate from the Dance Conservatory. Alexandra holds a B.A. in journalism from Penn State with minors in English and French and is originally from the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Alexandra has been an ASP college expert throughout the years working with students at Woodrow Wilson High School and multiple charter schools across Tarrant County. Alexandra has a strong history of working with educational nonprofits in Dallas. After serving as a math fellow in Houston ISD and a program specialist at the Boys & Girls Club, Alexandra has found her home in North Texas. Her previous work in the nonprofit sector includes grant writing and program implementation for low-income residents to achieve stability in physical health, academics, and finances. She cultivated partnerships with Dallas Afterschool and the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and presented sessions at national conferences.
