Welcome to the Office of Instructional Design

The Office of Instructional Design provides resources and guidance to faculty to successfully integrate educational technology into their teaching to further engage learners in face-to-face, hybrid, and online learning environments. This is accomplished through one-on-one faculty consultations, workshops/webinars, department-requested training, and online resources and training to further develop pedagogical and technical skills. This checklist for working with an instructional designer offers further detail about how we might serve you best.

How Can Instructional Designers Help?

Instructional designers work in collaboration with you to help you create high-quality learning experiences that meet curricular goals and accessibility standards. We partner with you to support the entire process of developing and revising your course. We also connect you with resources, including instructional technologists, to determine the best way to join pedagogy and technology to meet your goals.
