DCHS Student Council ApplicationÂ
Welcome to the exciting opportunity to run for the Student Council at DCHS! By completing this application, you are expressing your commitment to dedicate time beyond regular school and extracurricular activities to serve the DCHS student body. Senior officer positions, including President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer, are available. For other grade levels, President and Vice President officer positions are open. If you prefer a non-officer role, you can join as an "At-Large" member, exempt from running a campaign but still required to complete an application.
In the event you are not elected as an officer, you have the option to participate as an "At-Large" member. All Student Council members are expected to maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher, possess a good attendance record, and maintain positive behavior.
This application, along with teacher recommendations, must be submitted by February 19th, 2024.
Campaign Window: February 20 to March 27th
Officer announcements: April 10th on the Morning News
Candidates are required to remove ALL flyers and posters by: April 11th

The Student Council is seeking individuals who are highly motivated and dedicated to represent our student body for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Your insights are invaluable in selecting students who serve as exemplary role models both inside and outside the classroom. Kindly assess the candidate based on the criteria outlined below. We request that you complete and submit this form by February 19th, 2024.
