This will disable all email notifications from Google Classroom. You will need to open the Google Classroom website or app to see any new assignments or notifications.

Click the Settings option at the bottom of the list
Turn off the Receive email notifications option under Notifications - Email
If you decide you want the notifications enabled again, repeat this process to turn on notifications.
