AP Music Theory

2020-2021

Welcome to AP Music Theory!

Hello music theorists and enthusiasts! For those of you that do not know me, I am Mrs. Wojciechowski and I will be your AP Music Theory instructor for 2020-2021. This is an awesome class and am so excited to teach the content in this course We're going to get a little nerdy--but in the best way--so embrace it! It's a whole lot of fun!

You can reach me at awojciechowski@d94.org.

Our class meets during the 4th/5th class period. All of AP Humanities teachers have decided to hold class during the scheduled class time for all weekdays--at least for the beginning of remote learning. As we go, there may be more flexibility and room for independent work that will not require you to have a live session. For now, plan on having a live group class Monday-Friday.

Office Hours

I can be reached during any regularly scheduled class time on days that we do not have a live meeting, which will be rare . During those hours, you can connect with me directly by using the GoogleMeet link that is on the top banner of your GoogleClassroom page. You can also get assistance by making an appointment in advance, Monday-Friday from 7:30am until 10:25am. During those times, I am, potentially, in meetings so the earlier notice you can give the better. This way, we can schedule your meeting time. Again, I will use the GoogleMeet link on GoogleClassroom. Finally, my planning periods are: 2nd and 6th/7th/8th, but you need to email me ask I will not be linked to our GoogleClassroom at that time.

  1. 7:30am-10:20am: by appointment only; email prior (24 hours) to set up a time.

  2. 4th/5th: during our scheduled class time if there is no meeting.

  3. 2nd and 6th/7th/8th: by appointment only; email prior to set up an exact period.
