Grades will be input in powerschool as soon as I grade it and pass back (have a "take home" folder for graded papers to take home).

If you see "fix and return" on a paper, I will give one day to return the paper for a better grade. I will also write in the notes on powerschool when I am asking for a paper to be corrected and returned.

If something is not finished during class time, it will become homework to be turned in the following day. After that, it is up to you to check powerschool and get in any late work.

If you are absent or an assignment is late at the time when I am inputting the grades, I will input a zero as a place holder that will remain until the assignment is turned in. Rest assured as soon as the assignment is turned in, the zero will go away. Again, it's just used as a placeholder to remind you that you owe me something.

I will provide optional extra credit at times.

The District 92 grading scale is as follows:

• A 94-100

• A- 90-93

• B+ 87-89

• B 83-86

• B- 80-82

• C+ 77-79

• C 73-76

• C- 70-72

• D+ 67-69

• D 63-66

• D- 60-62

• F 0-59
