Fall Workshop

Fall Workshop is a great experience for Student Council members to be able to get new ideas and share their ideas with other councils from the Hopewell District. Student Council members who attend will have the opportunity to hear a motivational speaker, participate in discussion groups, and network with Student Council members from other schools.

Students have the opportunity to be leaders at Fall Workshop by being an Honor Delegate. An Honor Delegate is a leadership position that any student who is a member of Student Council of a Hopewell District member school may apply. The different positions are as follows: Constitution Committee member, Credentials Committee member, Discussion Group Leader, Recorder, presenting ideas in the Hall of Ideas, and providing a service as a Project School member.

Spring Convention

Spring Convention allows Student Council members to be a part of a district election process. Potential student officers are nominated and give a speech before the member schools vote on the candidates. We have added an opportunity for students to hear from local leaders about their experiences utilizing different leadership skills within their companies and jobs. Student Council members have the opportunity to hear from several different local leaders while building relationships with students from other schools.

Winter Retreat

This is an event where Student Council members can participate in different team building activities. Students are encouraged to attend and meet other students from other councils while participating in different team building events.
