District 64 visual art curriculum aligns with the National Core Standards from Kindergarten through 8th grade. The district philosophy expresses the importance of art in education. Students experience a wide variety of media, get exposed to the principles and elements of art, and learn about cultural heritage and history while expressing their ideas in a safe class/studio environment.
