Co-Taught Classes

Class Information:

This year I will be teaching two co-taught classes. I will be teaching a section of ELA with Mrs. Navez and Math with Mrs. Warneke. Co-teaching is when a general education teacher and a learning behavior specialist (special education teacher) share the responsibilities of planning lessons, delivering instruction, and assessing skills in a heterogeneous classroom. These classes are in the general education setting and use the general education curriculum. Some students may receive modified curriculum in these classes, but not modified content. All students will have access to the same curriculum concepts that are required in 6th grade.
