Bio

This is Mr. Teater's 13th year teaching music, and his 10th year at Emerson Middle School. He directs the Emerson Symphonic Band and Jazz Band, as well as the Beginning Band.

Mr. Teater holds a Bachelors of Music Education from Illinois State University and a Masters of Music Education degree from the University of Illinois.

He gigs irregularly as a saxophonist with the rock band Bob Bradish and The Backstabbers from Ottawa, IL.

6th Grade

Mr. Teater started playing his band instrument in 5th grade.
