What do I need to know?

Media on the Internet is often free to view/watch/listen to, but not all are available for you to use in your project.  It is important to look at the usage guidelines (also called the license) of each work and give the creator credit even if they give permission to use their work.

Why do I need to cite media?

This helps us be good digital citizens by demonstrating ethical behavior and following the law.  It is an expectation to give other people credit for their work.
