These Terms & Disclaimer explain the rules for using the Before the Spill app. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Before the Spill is a self-tracking and wellbeing app designed to help users reflect on:
What fills their stress bucket
What helps empty it
What symptoms they are experiencing
What patterns appear over time
The app is intended for personal reflection and wellbeing tracking only.
Before the Spill is not medical advice, therapy, diagnosis, crisis support, or a replacement for professional care.
The app does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any medical, mental health, or wellbeing condition.
You should not rely on Before the Spill as a substitute for advice from a doctor, therapist, counsellor, mental health professional, or other qualified professional.
If you are worried about your mental health, physical health, safety, or wellbeing, please seek appropriate professional support.
If you are in immediate danger, feel unable to keep yourself safe, or are experiencing a crisis, contact your local emergency services or a crisis support service immediately.
You are responsible for how you use the app and how you interpret your own entries, patterns, and insights.
Before the Spill may help you notice patterns, but it cannot tell you what decisions to make about your health, relationships, work, safety, or personal life.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for ensuring that the information you enter is appropriate for your own use.
The app may show summaries, trends, charts, history, or insights based on the information you enter.
These insights are for reflection only. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or affected by how often and how accurately you use the app.
Before the Spill does not guarantee that any insight, chart, bucket level, or pattern is clinically accurate.
Before the Spill may offer a Premium subscription.
Premium features may include access to additional history, trends, charts, insights, or other paid features.

Subscription prices, trial periods, and available plans are shown in the app and in the App Store before purchase.
Discounted or promotional subscription offers, where available, are shown in the app and in the App Store purchase flow before purchase.
Where offered, a free trial is available only under the terms shown in the App Store purchase flow.
At the end of a free trial, your subscription may automatically renew unless cancelled before the trial ends.
Subscriptions purchased through the App Store are handled by Apple.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled in your Apple account settings before the renewal date.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple account subscription settings.
Deleting the app does not automatically cancel your subscription.
Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store.
Before the Spill does not collect or store your payment card details.
Refunds, where available, are handled by Apple according to Apple’s own policies and processes.
You can request account deletion in the app by going to:

Submitting a deletion request marks your account for deletion and creates a deletion request for processing.
Some information may need to be retained where required for legal, security, subscription, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.

We may update, change, suspend, or remove parts of the app from time to time.
We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating system version.

We are not responsible for decisions you make based on your app entries, bucket level, charts, insights, or patterns.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

The latest version will be available through the app and through the public Terms & Disclaimer URL.
By continuing to use the app after changes are made, you agree to the updated terms.
