Yes! Students, it is YOUR responsibility to correct and turn assignments back in to be regraded.
We allow our students to redo assignments when they earn a 1 or a 2 the first time. Students must take the initiative to redo the assignment independently and must turn the assignment in the following school day. If the student needs assistance on the assignment, they can reach out during PLE to get help. The teacher will regrade the assignment and if improvement is shown, the grade will be changed. This policy does not apply to assessments such as end of unit tests. For science quizzes, students need to reach out to Mr. Phillips to set up a retake time.

Some examples include:

Yes! Water bottles are allowed. We do have some expectations though. All water bottles need closable lids and need to be spill proof. No glass! Only water is allowed in the water bottles. If water bottles become a distraction, they will not be allowed in classrooms.
After the first few weeks of school, you will receive a tracker for hallway/restroom passes for the first trimester. If you need to leave class to get something from your locker that you forgot and should have brought with you or to use the restroom (outside of a whole class restroom break), teachers will initial a pass. You will receive 12 passes each trimester. Once you have used your last pass, the next time you need to leave will result in a lunch/recess detention in one of the teachers' rooms. After that, every 3rd additional pass used will result in another lunch/recess detention. At the end of the trimester, the passes will reset, and you will receive a new tracker with 12 passes to begin the next trimester.
