All throughout East Middle School, the case of a 6th Grade Pencil Mastermind has been uncovered as a freak incident in the cafeteria tragically leaves everyone in the hospital. On the 3rd of October, EMS’s widely known Pencil Mastermind, who has evoked fear and unease throughout students for more than 23 years, executed an elaborate heist in order to gain full power and control over the teachers. Since the damage has been done, many students and staff have been questioned to learn more about what has happened at East Middle School and the effects of this tragedy.
“We were never allowed to go outside our classroom without being scared of our things being stolen,” one student states. They explained to us that the 6th Grade Pencil Mastermind stole pencils constantly, and without explanation. Reportedly, padlocks and metal bars were unable to prevent these attacks, and it was simply an unexplained case of criminal brilliance.
“These steals have been affecting students for a really, really long while,” states Ms.Rath, the 6th Grade Science teacher, “It was a constant problem, and everyone knew that eventually he would move onto bigger plans.”
Ms.Rath was indeed correct as the incident was conducted on the 3rd, just a week after things started escalating. EMS Office Staff explained that the mastermind had planned a brilliant pencil raid in order to transport 13,896 stolen pencils across the country without restraints. The plan was to rush through the cafeteria during 6th Grade Lunchtime, stealing as many pencils from students along the way, and breaking through the front doors out to a cargo truck which belonged to his California lair.
The raid went south when EMS staff were surprisingly prepared. They barricaded doors in time and immediately pulled alarms and shut out lights to alert students to get to safety while they called the FBI to restrain the culprit. EMS staff, unfortunately, forgot that they were dealing with middle schoolers, and so the plan resulted in students running around in circles, destroying equipment, and causing suffocation, mental trauma, and severe injury to one another in the crowd. Many students were immediately sent to the hospital after the shock went down, including the culprit of the case.
In the hospital with severe emotional trauma, Tyrus Cubert was indentified as the 6th Grade Pencil Mastermind who has been terrorizing classrooms for more than two decades. Landry, a key witness of the case, reports the details to EMS and states “Tyrus was diagnosed with a DPA, a medically Diagnosed Pencil Addiction (which is very rare in a child)” which has brought some explanation to the pull factor of his actions.
“No one was at all surprised,” Landry added nonchalantly, “We all knew he was somebody who would do something like that, but no one could speak up because we all knew he would figure it out and move onto new measures. But I mean, we’re all relieved the students and staff don't have to worry about it anymore.”
“It was to build a fort,” Tyrus Cubert said to the questioning police while shivering and stuttering and sobbing in his hospital bed. The police told us he said nothing else due to the breakdown that happened immediately afterwards.
The aftermath of this case left students and teachers relieved for a little while, until Tyrus’s parents sued the school. East Middle is now facing severe court charges for negligence and descrimination. Teachers are devastated as the school does not have enough money to hire good lawyers for court due to the fees for damages and an alleged 36,711 missing pencils. Many other students and staff are worried about what is to come next.
“We might as well get the woodworkers to go to court,” EMS administration told reporters regarding the concern, “It just isn’t within our capacity to fight this lawsuit, or to handle weird children who love pencils too much.”
