The school was in a panic as we looked into the treacherous events that had happened in Ms.Rath’s sixth grade science class. The students were doing a normal lab when Ms.Rath pulled out a mysterious bag of white powder. She looked back into the box in which the peculiar white powder was lifted out of. She outstretched her arm to reveal a curious bottle of red liquid. Ryker shouted out,”It’s forbidden Kool Aid!”
Everyone looked around as if Ms. Rath had an amazing look of malicious smirks. As she looked around guilty as ever.
Mrs. Rath began to instruct the class on how to create the reaction between the powder and the red liquid by mixing it in a small plastic bag. As the class began to create the experiment, one of the students, Ryker Wall decided that it was a good idea to consume the distrustful yellow substance that had been created. That substance that was consumed ran down his throat as it stunned and burned.
He was in so much distress that he ran to use the sink. Ryker had gotten some water in his eyes so he went to get a paper towel as he grabbed the brown towel he knocked the bag of yellow substance out of his partner Nolan’s hands. The mixture dropped into the sink and washed down the drain.
Ms. Rath didn’t notice as the students went berserk. Nolan started to calm down,
“Don’t worry it's in the sink so we don't have to touch it. We can just run it down the drain!” Ryker goes to twist the knob to turn on the sink water. A gruesome smell wafted into the air. They didn’t think much of it because that is what usually happens when you use the sinks in the school.
No one thought of the occurrence for the rest of the day. Until an anonymous 7th grade student went to take a drink from the water fountain.
”Why is it burning down my throat? This is worse than the normal school water!” The student uttered while sprinting to the other fountain to try and wash the revolting taste out of his mouth. He slurped up the water as he was hit with the stinging sensation again.
The students didn’t know that the school was cheap enough to reuse water. The suspicious yellow liquid had gotten into the water system and poisoned it.The school was under crisis so they decided to call in Mr. Gil to solve the problem.
He ran all the water out of the school so that the poisoned substance would leave the water. It worked but now the school had two problems. One, the water bill is out of the roof, and two, the water still tasted inferior.
All and all no one was sent to the hospital and no one was sued, yet. Although there is one question that still stands… What is in Ms. Rath’s “Forbidden Kool Aid?”
