It was a normal Friday in Mr. Somerville’s room, students yawned as they pretended to laugh at Mr. Somerville’s gaudy dad jokes. Suddenly, Mr.Clark strutted in with his shiny bowtie and tophat sparkling in the dim classroom lighting. Students' heads turned and jaws dropped before everyone started exclaiming, “Mr.Clarks’ looking dapper!” Mr. Clark put his hand on his hips and grinned with pride. “That's right I am!” He responded, smiling once again. For the rest of the day, all that students could talk and think about was Mr.Clark entering that room and adding some swagger to their normal day. In a recent interview with Classy Clark he stated, “That was the peak of my career, walking into that room. You know, it's a real compliment when a bunch of 14-year-olds call you ‘dapper’ . I'm sure if you asked another teacher at this school, I'd be the only one to be complimented with teenage slang!” Afterwards, students soon regretted giving Mr. Clark the boost of confidence, because of how he’s acted since then, waiting for praise every time he sees a group of 8th graders huddled together in the hall. At times, he's been seen wearing a rather penguin-like black suit, a cane, and a pocket protector. Students are scared of what this means for the future of the school. What will the dress code be like after Classy Clark? Will they have to meet Mr. Clark's sky high expectations of swaggy clothing?
