Mr. Bolotin of 8th grade returned back from his mysterious leave on the fourth of April. Several students reported he came back looking younger than ever. “His teaching is just energetic!” Students murmured in the hallway. “His skin is glowing, and his hairline has actually advanced further onto his forehead!” In an interview with Bolotin, he confirmed these rumors: “I feel rejuvenated, a relaxing break was just what I needed.” Nobody reported knowing what Bolotin was doing during this break, but he must have been getting a lot of sleep! “He must have gone on a vacation.” Students concluded. The purpose of this long break is still unknown, but Bolotin reported clues regarding his absence:“I sure ate a lot of applesauce!” Bolotin said, unprompted. Some staff members believe this is the secret sauce to his young and fresh look. After confused looks by our shallot interviewers, Bolotin said, “Have you tried pureed sweet potatoes? They are actually quite good.” Shallot members then awkwardly stepped out of the classroom, fearing pureed sweet potatoes. The shallot team will keep you updated.
