Six grade students at East Middle School went crazy when 2/22/22 landed on a Tuesday. “It’s T-T-T-TWOsday” everyone shared for good things. In their first elective the students were having a good day so far mainly because it was 2/22/22. Everyone was especially excited because the first elective bell was supposed to ring at 2:22. In the computer lab, everyone started a countdown at 2:21:50 “10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1” At 2:22 it was silent, no bell, no voices, no anything. Everyone's face went pale, and they all looked at each other with watering eyes. “Today was supposed to be a good day,” said Emery Foust through her tears. Kevin just broke down, curled up in a ball and started crying. Jayden passed out and fell out of her chair. Damien started singing emo music. Myla ran up to Carson and said “I’m emotional, can you comfort me?” Surai collapsed and said, “We have waited our whole lives for this! There is no purpose for life! What a waste of time.” Everyone was depressed and cranky for the rest of the day “GET AWAY FROM ME!!! DO NOT TOUCH ME I'M SAD!” snapped Carson, irritated with Myla’s concern. Then the bell rang. Looking at the clock they all saw 2:23 “THE AUDACITY¨ Carson yelled. Everyone got up and walked out the door with their heads hung low.
