My name is Mrs. Donovan, and I am the PreK–6 School Counselor at Hiawatha. I earned my counseling degree from National Louis University and am also a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Illinois.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with children, teens, and young adults in a variety of settings. These experiences have given me a diverse background in supporting students' academic, social, emotional, and personal growth.

I am proud to be part of the Hiawatha family and truly enjoy getting to know and supporting our students and families each day. My goal is to make sure every student knows they have a safe, supportive adult at school who is ready to listen, encourage, and help them navigate challenges.
