Volunteers do not necessarily have the time, but they have the heart!
Please accept our open invitation to participate in your child's educational experience by being a part of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Any amount of time or talents you have to share will be of value to our Wredling family.
About the Wredling PTO
Wredling Middle School has a very active PTO and several volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Our PTO works to support the staff, acts as a resource to parents, and provides educational enrichment to our students through program funding and volunteerism.
If you are interested in becoming involved, please sign up HERE or contact one of our PTO officers (current WMS PTO Board list is located below in the PTO Resources). Providing your contact information is not a commitment to volunteer, but it will add you to the distribution lists for future opportunities.

Online registration is now closed. However, you can still register the day of the event for $35.00.
At that time, we will have QR codes to accept online payments (as well as cash or check).
Additionally, we will have QR codes available for the additional purchase of pizza/pop combos for $5.00 or Kona Ice for $3.00.
PTO Dues
The PTO raises money through annual dues, fundraisers, donations, events, and business sponsors.
Payment of the annual $20 PTO dues per family per year is greatly appreciated. The more funds we raise from PTO dues, the more benefits our students and teachers receive.
Listed below are some of the items the PTO approved for purchase. The list below is an example of the many ways our PTO benefits our Wredling students and staff. Thank you on behalf of the Wredling PTO.
Technology - cameras, headphones, LCD Projector for small gym
Books, games, & various materials to support curriculum
Prizes for fundraising participants
Honor Roll treats
Teacher Appreciation
Grounds Beautification
Water Bottle Filling Fountains
Partnered with WMS Administration to purchase fish tank for Student Services
Many other items to beautify the school and enrich our students' educational experiences!

At Wredling we refer to our "as-needed' parent volunteer force as Red Shirts*. As volunteer opportunities arise, the first
e-mail is to the Red Shirt distribution list asking for volunteers. These emails will contain a Sign-Up Genius link along with a description of the event and specific dates/time slots. If the volunteer opportunity is of interest to you, you may sign up at that time. We appreciate your participation. Our efforts together will make a significant positive impact on the students of Wredling. Please contact the PTO Board at __________________________ if you have any additional questions.
*Our volunteers are required to wear Red Shirts that can be purchased for $5.00 in the main office from Lucy Johnson.
