3rd grade uses many aspects of reading in our classrooms. Each 3rd grade teacher will instruct students in the Reading Workshop. The workshop model is based on the Lucy Caukins model of teaching reading.

As a parent, we want you to help your student show the value in reading and writing throughout their day. For homework, we do need students to build their reading life to have the stamina of reading 30 minutes per day.
