Seussical Jr. hit the Elgin Community College stage from April 25th to April 27th. They performed four shows, one Thursday morning for the incoming 5th Graders from the feeder schools, and the current 8th Graders, as well as three shows at night that were open to members of the public. The Thursday Night Show came close to selling out, though there were still seats that remained unsold. However, both the Friday Night and Saturday Night shows did sell out. The musical was an emotional emotional roller coaster as the cast and audience alike mourned the loss of our beloved director, teacher, mentor, and friend, Mr. Bishop. At the same time though, the musical was filled with many joyful moments, and through the whole process, we knew Mr. Bishop was guiding us, and cheering us on from above.
