I was looking for something to download from the library that didn't have a 14 week hold and came across Bruiser.  It's a story about a boy who is ruthlessly judged by the kids at school; the truth about him is  unbelieveable and truly amazing.

Recommended by Mr. McDonald. The Wild, The Innocent, and the E Street Shuffle (1973) Bruce Springsteen's second album is a perfect rock and roll record. The album's songs contain the best realization of Springsteen's poetic vision. synthesized popular musical styles into complicated, well-executed arrangements and absorbing suites. Bruce would later make different albums, but he never made a better one. The truth is, The Wild, The Innocent & the E Street Shuffle is one of the greatest albums in the history of rock & roll.
