ADHD AWARENESS MONTH!
By Lucinda Gonnella
October is also ADHD Awareness Month! ADHD Awareness Month is when we support people who have ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder). ADHD has three core characteristics: inattention (Trouble maintaining focus), Hyperactivity (constant movement or fidgeting), and Impulsivity (Acting or speaking quickly without thinking ahead). Don’t think that people with ADHD are trying to be rude; this disorder is a common neurodevelopmental brain condition. Sometimes all you need to do is work with it.
