Paddington 2
Recommended by Hugo Weingart
Paddington 2 because this is one of the best movies ive ever seen. This movie is crazy. Its super deep because Paddinton goes for jail even though he didint do anything and once hes in jail he makes it a better place by bringing colors other than gray, sweet treats and flowers into it. The story is super good, its probably has one of the best stories out of all the live action movies. And i cant wait for Paddington 3
Birdland
by Josef Zawinul/arr. Rick Stitzel
Mateo Talay is recommending Birdland. A very popular old jazz band song. The song is very nice and calming, while having a nice pop to it. Even the Cardinal Jazz Band's playing it!
Pride and Prejudice
Recommended by Mrs. Hoppes
It is such an amazingly filmed movie with a romantic tale! The director wanted to make every shot as beautiful as possible - so no matter where in the movie you paused it - the scene was as gorgeous as a painting. If I ever want to feel all warm and fuzzy inside, I put this movie on! I really like movies that are more action packed, Disney, or Rom Coms but I do occasionally like something that's mildly scary... More TV type scary and not rated r, give me nightmares, scary stuff.
Open Arms by Journey
Recommended by Mrs. Marquis
"Open Arms" by Journey was my Senior Prom theme song at Dundee Crown High School in 1991. My PROM dress was all about satin, sequins, and rhinestones!
The Land Before Time
Recommended by Nico Jensen
It is a sad but uplifting movie with dinosaurs.
The Labyrinth
Recommended by Mrs. McFeggan because in, 1986, it was a fun but kind of creepy, movie that was kid appropriate. Usually movies that are kind of scary are not appropriate for kids but I was allowed to watch this one. It was not animated but Jim Hensen made puppets to interact with the actors and they were really cool. It was kind of a creepy Sesame Street kind of movie. Also, David Bowie was awesome. If I had to pick another movie that gave similar vibes, I would go with Dark Crystal.
No Rain by Blind Melon
Recommended by Mrs. Roy
No Rain was always a song that struck me as the perfect summer road trip song to listen to with the windows down, driving on the highway in the "middle of nowhere", and wind blowing on your face. It has a free relaxed mood and I would often listen to it while driving. The catchy mid-tempo guitar riff with smooth melodic & charismatic falsetto vocal by the singer were a good sunny day combo!
Friday Nights at Freddy's
Madison McAuliffe recommended this franchise because it's getting really popular.
Ever Estrada recommended X-Men '97 because it is a good show and every episode ends on a cliff hanger My favorite episode is easily the 5th one with it being the most shocking
