On this website you will find information you need regarding Prom 2026.
You can only attend Prom if you are currently a Junior or Senior. If you are an underclassman, you may only attend with either a Junior or Senior. Underclassmen also need to fill out the guest form that is located in the dean's office.
This year's prom will be held at The Westin North Shore in Wheeling on Saturday, April 25th from 6pm-10pm. The theme is "The Great Gatsby!"
Students will need arrive at the Athletic Entrance at HDJ at 4:15pm. Students will have the option to go to the Competition gym for photos or go straight to the Field House to check in with their assigned chaperone. Buses will arrive back to Jacobs around 11:00pm.

Discuss with your friends which table (up to 12 per a table) and bus number you plan on signing up for when you purchase your ticket. If you are unsure of who to sit with, you may sign up for any bus or table.

Purchase your ticket using the Omella link starting on March 16th.
Request songs prior to the prom date.
Check back on Tuesday, April 21st to make sure your table and bus assignment has not changed.
Price: $115 per person (Non-Refundable!)
The ticket price includes a 3- course meal, bus transportation, and the Dj/photo booths.
Online ticket sales will begin on Monday, March 16th and go until Friday, April 10th. Read the prom expectations and then purchase online tickets via the OMELLA link.
When purchasing tickets, you will be prompted to select a bus, a table, and a meal. Plan ahead with your friends on which table and bus number to choose. Tables can seat up to 12. We can not gaurantee that we can accommodate changes if you sign up for the wrong table and bus. We recommend purchasing tickets earlier rather than later. Only the first 622 tickets sold will receive transportation via a coach bus. Any additional tickets sold, may require school bus transportation.
If you do not have internet access at home, you can use the laptop kiosks located in the Jacobs High School main office.
The last day to purchase tickets is Friday, April 10th.
PLEASE NOTE: No physical tickets are given out. When students arrive at JHS for prom, they will check in with their bus chaperone by using a QR code sent by Omella when the ticket was purchased. If you do not have the QR code, staff will still be able to check you in however, it will delay the check in process.
In order to bring a non-HDJ student or underclassman to prom, you will need to complete a guest form and attach a copy of a photo id. All forms with id copies must be turned into the Dean’s office no later than Friday, April 10th by 3:00pm. No guest permission forms will be accepted after that date! Guest permission forms can be found in the Dean’s Office or by using this attachment. DO NOT PURCHASE A TICKET UNTIL YOUR GUEST FORM IS APPROVED. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. The steps are clearly laid out on the guest form prior to buying a ticket for a guest.
When tickets are being purchased on Omella, you will be prompted to upload a picture of your guest approval form.
