Droplers

A small, fish like creature that seems to be in a constant state of incorporeality. Its physical body is somewhere along the electromagnetic spectrum. The parts that can be seen are the most dense parts of the Dropler; which are dense enough that they can be observed as a kind of translucent, lightly glowing figure. The parts of the Dropler not visible to the eye can be detected as radio and sound waves, giving each Dropler its own unique tune depending on how its patterns show and what color they appear in. This is not naturally audible to humans, but it can be made audible by lowering the frequency until it is in the human hearing range.Droplers communicate through song-like calls, with a complexity that is not yet understood. What we do know though, is that the songs are out of human hearing range, and that Droplers have no qualms with singing to humans. Their songs get lower pitched when around people, making it able to be heard. These songs are specifically for communicating with people, as they don't use them for any other purposeDroplers who are kept by humans, though fully capable of leaving, tend to stick close to their humans; it's even been documented that they remain more tangible around humans. It's assumed they like the reactions humans have to their patterns, and they like to dance erratically in the air to show themselves off; both to humans and others of their own kindNot much else is known about their wild behavior, diet, and habits, since incorporeal creatures cannot be constrained without significant harm to everyone involved. It's best just to watch as they float in and out of the visible spectrum.
