The Freshman continues to impress. 2:09.2 in the 4x800 (team-best) and 4:52.28 in the 1600 are phenomenal times for a Freshman in February.

Freshmen School Records:

800: 2:06.64

1600: 4:39.60

4x8: 8:49.54

3/4 PRs and a season PR time of 3:39.81. Carter Bailitz exploded at the 3-leg with a 54.1 split. This should have been at least .5 seconds faster if we had a better exchange. The official tried moving Nick to lane 1 at the last second making the exchange a standstill. This group has a lot more in the tank! 

This is the best 4x8 time we have run since the 2021 Outdoor Conference Meet. This is a great start to a promising group. We also look forward to Tyler Gibbons return to the team after a strong Swim season.

Nick Smith 8.89 (6th) and Carter Bailitz 9.51 run just off their PRs. Three meets and three solid races. Awesome work by our hurdle crew and Coach Bozych.

The indoor 4x2 can be a mess with a congested race. We had some unfortuante exchanges out in lane 6 that hindered our time. We will look to improve our time next Monday at the Mustang Relays.
