4x2 scorches IL#3

1:29.64c on April 11th at a Tuesday Tri-Meet is an incredibly fast time. It is the fastest 4x2 time at Andrew in 20 years. Last year's season PR was 1:29.67, which was ran at the IHSA Sectional. How fast will this group be in six weeks? Brendan Kelly exploded out of the blocks with a 22.7 PR, Rey Alexander made up the stagger with his usual fast split running 21.9, newcomer Tony Ryan shocked the world with a 22.0 PR split (!!), and Jaden Michel brought us home all by himself with a 22.8 split. This time currently ranks #3 in the state of Illinois!

The Freshman three-sport athlete (Football-Basketball-Track) started with the sprint-crew this season but has since found a home with the D-Crew. Evan had a monster day placing 2nd in the varsity 800 running 2:12.7 and running a blazing 56.0 split in the 4x4. Wow! Evan will be a critical piece as we go after the Freshman 4x4 and 4x8 records this season.

Tarasiewicz almost 52ft

51-11.5 is a lifetime PR for Mike and is only 5.5 inches off the State Qualifying standard. Keep up the good work Mike!
