Adventure Education 2

Adventure Education 2 is designed to develop personal confidence, mutual support and respect within a group. This program is sequenced to build one unit upon another. The class begins with a short unit on team building and then right to the high ropes course! Adventure 2 builds on the activities completed in Adventure 1. Learning more advanced paddling techniques will be part of the kayaking unit in the pool. Individual high elements such as Pamper Pole, Crate Climbing and Dangle Duo are other challenging activities the students will conquer. Adventure 2 talks about the great National Park System and all there is to learn and enjoy. Outdoor skills focus on backpacking, outdoor cooking, and tent set up. Adventure encourages the student to step outside his/her comfort zone and experience something new and different. Our culminating field trip is to Devil's Lake State Park in Wisconsin for climbing and hiking.

Parents and guardians: PROGRESS REPORTS - Progress Reports will now be available through the Individual Learning Plan (ILP) online at approximately weeks 5, 9, and 14. Semester grades will be calculated and mailed home after week 18.
