Final Transcript:
All colleges require a final transcript that includes the student's 8th-semester grades and their graduation date. For more information, please see this Transcript letter and these additional instructions.
Questions regarding the final transcript should be directed to Mr. Dan Gin, College and Career Counselor, at dangin@d219.org or (847) 626-2682.
Student Records:
Please be advised that District 219 maintains two (2) sets of student records: a permanent record and a temporary record. The permanent record is kept for 60 years after the student has graduated and includes basic identifying information (names, addresses, phone numbers), academic transcripts, attendance record, accident and health reports and information pertaining to release of this record. The temporary record is kept for five (5) years after the student has graduated and consists of all student school records not contained in a student permanent record and may include: family background; intelligence and aptitude scores; achievement test results; participation in extracurricular activities; honors and awards; teacher anecdotal records; disciplinary information; special education files; verified reports or information from non-educational persons; verified information of clear relevance to the student’s education; and information pertaining to release of this record. If you desire a copy of the temporary record prior to its destruction, you may obtain it by making a request, in writing, to the school’s Registrar. Parents/guardians may make this request for a student under the age of 18 years. When the student reaches 18 years of age, graduates from high school, marries, or enters military service, all rights and privileges accorded to a parent/guardian become exclusively those of the student.
Questions regarding Student Records should be directed to Ms. Phyllis Coleman, Registrar, at phycol@d219.org or (847) 626-2932.
